Good toughness is the most critical requirement.In addition,high strength, good corrosion resistance, weldability, formability and surface quality are required.Its Mn/C ratio should be above 2.5, and there are strict requirements for carbon equivalent, and it should be produced by a steel mill ap proved by the ship inspection department.
